The college experience is not always as perfect as some school brochures may lead you to think. For some, making the transition from high school to college is easy, but for others it is difficult and confusing. Out of Black and White tells the story of Chris Lewis, a college graduate who is reflecting upon his days as a freshman. What he remembers is a time of academic stress, disorientation, and doubt. Laced with wisdom from the Old Testament, Out of Black and White zeros in on a precise target that promises hope and insight for anyone who has ever experienced a traumatic season of life.

A painter with a turbulent history, fiercely committed to his ideals and still averse to settling down despite his 70 years; a lawyer who packed in his job after suffering a heart attack and now pursues a quiet life looking after his pet snail; a doctor already disenchanted with his profession and now discarded by his wife; a career woman braving life on her own, who has made loneliness a life style. These characters are all patrons of Black & White, an Ankara bar that has been around for 25 years, and in a sense the bar is their last haven. The owner, meanwhile, is the irritable, easily offended but utterly lovable Faruk... Black & White is a film about the awareness of growing old, friendship, sensitivity and the finer details of life.

Wendy is a black petty thief and when she steals an old pocket watch from Senator Pillinger and two men begin to shoot on her she seeks refuge with Costello.

Fans of classic game shows, which aired in the 1950s and early 1960s, could enjoy their favorites again with Game Show Network's "Black and White Overnight." Each night, three classic shows -- always from the Goodson-Todman library -- aired during the two-hour programming block. Most frequently seen were reruns of Beat the Clock (1950), "I've Got a Secret" (1952)_, Password (1961), To Tell the Truth (1956), What's My Line? (1950); some episodes of shows had not been seen since their original broadcasts (partly because of cigarette advertising, which has since been banned). Other shows which aired during the block included (but not limited to): Judge for Yourself (1953), Make the Connection (1955), _"Name's the Same, The" (1951)_, Number Please (1961) and Two for the Money (1952).
